This is a drivetrain skid plate DIY weld-together kit for the 4th generation (2003-2009) Toyota 4Runner, Lexus GX470 and (2007-2009) FJ Cruiser. This 2-piece set mounts using all factory mounting points (no drilling required) and provides excellent protection of the radiator, front differential, engine oil pan, steering rack and transmission. This skid set features a dropped front differential pocket that adds 1.75" of ground clearance over a generic flat skid plate! This provides one of the best approach angles of any skid plate set on the market. Multiple stiffening ribs run the length of the skid plate set. This makes these skid plates drastically stronger than other skid plates on the market which are simply bent into shape with little to no reinforcements and inadequate mounts.
**Please note that this 2-piece skid plate set ends at the transfer case frame crossmember and DOES NOT include the rear-most skid plate (covering gas tank) shown in some of the pictures.
**Please note that these skids will only fit 2007-2009 FJ Cruisers and not 2010 FJ Cruisers.

Heavy duty 3/16" plate steel construction for maximum offroad strength and durability
Optional 1/4" 5052 aluminum construction for a lightweight yet very durable overlanding setup (40lb weight savings)
Maximum approach angle - dropped differential pocket allows front plate to tuck up as tight as possible for maximum ground clearance.

Front plate bolts directly to frame using 8 factory mounting points - no drilling required
Rear plate bolts directly to frame using 6 factory mounting points- no drilling required
Oil drain hole allows for oil changes without skid plate removal
All kits ship as clean, bare metal that is ready to weld out of the box - the Nitrogen laser cutting technology means no cutting edge oxidation and thus easier and stronger welds
Available in KDSS and non-KDSS versions. Please note that the non-KDSS version provides the best ground clearance. The KDSS front skid plate is extended forwards to provide the clearance for the KDSS system.
Requires mounting spacers to work with Sway bar drop kits
